Terms & privacy

Here you will find information about booking terms, cancellations and how we handle personal data and medical records.

Booking and confirmation

Appointments are booked via the website or by agreement. Each booking refers to a specific certificate or a clearly defined medical assessment.

After completing a booking, a confirmation is sent to the e-mail address you have provided. In some cases, additional information may be required before the visit can be carried out. If anything needs to be changed, we will contact you using the contact details you have supplied.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Booked appointments are binding. Cancellation or rescheduling must be made in accordance with the information in your booking confirmation. As a general rule, we need notice at least 24 hours before the appointment.

In case of no-show, late cancellation or repeated rescheduling, a fee may be charged and in some situations we may decline to offer further appointments. This follows current recommendations for private healthcare providers and is described in the confirmation.

Changes or cancellations by the clinic

In case of illness, technical problems or other circumstances, we may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. In such cases we will offer a new time as soon as possible.

Any fees for already performed services (for example laboratory tests) are not affected, but of course you will not be charged for a visit that is not carried out.

Medical limitations and responsibility

Certificates are based on the regulations applicable to each area (for example aviation, maritime or work abroad) and on the medical information available at the time of assessment.

In some situations a certificate cannot be issued or needs to be complemented, for example if an investigation is ongoing or if the requirements in the regulations are not fulfilled. In such cases we will inform you about what is missing and how you can proceed.

You are responsible for booking your appointment in good time before the final date for renewal or application set by the employer, authority or other recipient of the certificate.

Payment

Current prices are stated on the website and/or in connection with booking. The fee refers to the specific certificate or assessment stated at the time of booking.

Payment is made according to the options presented on the website and in the confirmation (for example card payment or invoice). In case of no-show or late cancellation, a fee may be charged as described above.

Personal data and medical records

When you book an appointment and when a certificate is issued, we process personal data about you, such as name, personal identity number or other ID, contact details, health information and information about work or assignment.

Medical assessments are documented in medical records in accordance with Swedish legislation. Records are used to assess your health in relation to applicable regulations and are stored for the period required by law and good clinical practice.

Access to records and personal data is limited to authorised staff. Information is not disclosed to third parties without your consent, unless there is a legal obligation or requirement to do so (for example for certain notifiable conditions).

Confidentiality and privacy

All information about your health and personal situation is handled confidentially, in the same way as in other healthcare settings.

E-mail is primarily used for confirmations, reminders and general information. We avoid sending detailed health information via unencrypted e-mail unless it is necessary and you have agreed to it.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your medical record in accordance with applicable legislation. You may also request correction if you consider some information to be incorrect or misleading.

If you have questions about how your personal data are handled, you can contact the clinic using the contact details provided on the website. If needed, you may also contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Cookies and technical information

The website may use technical cookies for basic functions such as language settings and secure session handling. These cookies do not contain unnecessary personal data.

If we in the future use analytics tools or third-party services that place additional cookies, this will be described in an updated information text on the website.
